Find The Time
Bone Marrow Donor Appeal
This website has evolved from a very emotional email sent by Nisha Mitha, an acute lymphoblastic leukaemia patient, only aged 31, who had an exciting life in front of her, if she could find a bone marrow transplant donor. Nisha was just like you and me, vivacious, energetic and if you met her, one of the most giving and kindest people you could meet. However many people like her need help and if you feel you may be able to help in any possible way please get in touch.

If you do wish to register as a bone marrow donor, there are a number of ways to do this, some of which are highlighted below.
- Attend a specially organised blood testing session at the Anthony Nolan Trust www.anthonynolan.org.uk Please call the Trust (0207 284 1234) if you have any medical conditions. They have plenty of car parking space. You can call the Anthony Nolan Trust on 0207 284 1234 to arrange a mutually convenient time to have a blood test at the same location.
- Register with the National Blood Service (www.blood.co.uk) or call 0845 7711 711 (24hr). They can tell you when and where your next local blood collection service will be (across the UK and very frequent). You must inform them that you would like to register as a bone marrow donor at the collection point.
- Get 20 or more people and contact the Anthony Nolan Trust and organise a special clinic for you.
